Charge: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia
RESULT: Pretrial Diversion

Client was stopped for a traffic violation.  Upon exiting his vehicle after notifying the officer of his concealed weapon pursuant to his concealed weapons permit, the officer saw in plain view a glass pipe in the driver’s side floorboard and a glass pipe in the passenger’s side floorboard commonly used for smoking marijuana.  Upon arrest for possession of paraphernalia, Client notified the officer of marijuana in the center console of his vehicle.  Client was charged with a count of possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.  Jason Mayberry was able to negotiate a pretrial diversion deal for his client, thereby preventing his client from matriculating through the court system and risking a conviction on his criminal record.
