Case Results - State vs. MB

MB was charged with one count of third degree felony Grand Theft, and a single count of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, also a third degree felony. Both charges are construed as crimes of dishonesty. Jason Mayberry informed the Prosecutor of his client’s desire to one day attend medical school and explained that she was in the process of applying to do so. Using this information and citing that MB had only one traffic misdemeanor in her past, Jason Mayberry negotiated a Pre-Trial Diversion plea deal. By entry and successful completion of Pre-Trial Diversion the Client is given an opportunity to have the case dropped completely.
