Result: Probation offer with payment of fine and court costs as only condition after pleaing to a withhold of adjudication

Client charged with battery on a law enforcement, two misdemeanor counts of battery and a separate criminal traffic charge.  Client failed to appear at a prior court date a few years prior to resolution and had two warrants for her arrest.  The State Attorney’s office refused to negotiate a plea until Client surrendered herself.  Jason Mayberry filed a Motion for Self Surrender and was able to negotiate a withhold of adjudication plea to 18 months of probation with only fines and court costs as terms.  Client entered a plea to prevent her from becoming a convicted felon, is eligible for early termination of probation, and can seal her record upon completion of probation.
