Client was sentenced in May 2011 to two years of probation for a theft crime involving numerous victims.  Restitution in an amount of $11,000 was paid.  Jason Mayberry was hired in October 2011 and was able to get the client terminated early from probation in November 2011 over the State’s objection based on Client not having served at least half of their probation.  The Pinellas County State Attorney’s office has a blanket policy of objecting to motions to terminate probation early if the motion is made prior to half of the probationary period being served.  That being said, it is generally difficult to convince a Judge to terminate prior to the halfway point as well.  Jason Mayberry filed his motion and attached pertinent documents to show the Court the reason his client should be allowed to terminate early and relocate overseas.
